Severn Trent have provided the following update regarding the work on the Severn Ham.
‘We are continuing a programme of proactive checks on the mains crossing the Severn Ham. There are a range of internal and external surveys taking place the aim being to prevent water losses and stop any further failures.
The team have been made aware of the environmental status of the Severn Ham and they are taking additional steps to minimise any disturbance to the site.
This activity is critical and it continues during the current covid-19 outbreak with the teams working hard to maintain social distancing while working to ensure our customers and neighbours continue to receive their supply of water’.
