The National Flood Forum support team, along with Tewkesbury Borough Council’s Community officers and other agencies, will be visiting Tewkesbury, Tirley, Sandhurst, Minsterworth and Longford from Tuesday, 23 April in a mobile support vehicle.
Drop-in sessions will include the National Flood Forum, Gloucestershire County Council, the Environment Agency and Severn Trent Water representatives to offer local advice and support in partnership with the borough council.
Residents and business owners will be able to speak to flood recovery experts from the National Flood Forum about their experiences. They will be able to gain advice on many issues relating to flooding, including insurance, property resilience reinstatement and Flood Action Groups, and will have the chance to inform National Flood Forum and local Flood Risk Managers about what has happened to them. The support unit will be a one-stop-shop for practical and emotional support.
