Derek Graham Play Area Refurbishment Feedback

Tewkesbury Town Council are looking at ways to improve the facilities at the Derek Graham Play Area and we would love your input on this.

For example, we love the natural wood play equipment that was originally installed, but it doesn’t have the lifespan of metal equipment – which do you prefer?

Should we be considering outdoor gym equipment for older children & adults?

We know that the basketball nets are difficult to use in the winter months, should we put in an area of tarmac around one or both ends, or is it better left as it is, as it is used more for football?

Do you think that the facilities are fine and don’t need an upgrade, but we should focus on providing more Play Ranger sessions, improving the seating or creating a wildflower area?

We don’t have any fixed ideas about what should happen and want to be guided by the needs of the community who already use the park, so we would be grateful if you could spare a couple of minutes to answer the questions below.

Thank you.
