The flag poles at Town Hall have had to be taken down due to safety concerns. We have recently had work done on the Town Hall masonry facade and have been advised that the existing poles are too heavy for our delicate stone work. We are looking into the purchase of lightweight fibre glass flag poles, but we regret that the new poles will not arrive in time for us to display the flag for VE-Day.
