Every September thousands of volunteers across England organise events to celebrate our fantastic history and culture. It’s your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – all of which are FREE to explore.
We are taking part this year, and there will be free tours of Tewkesbury Town Hall on Saturday 10th and Saturday 17th September 2022. Discover what lies within Tewkesbury Town Hall – from the cells in the basement to the grand Council Chamber. Tewkesbury Town Councillors will lead visitors through the Town Hall which will include the Council Chamber, Mayor’s Parlour and Corn Exchange. Visitors will also be able to see the cells in the basement, as the Town Hall was used as a Court.
No need to book, just turn up at 1000, 1130, 1300 or 1430.
