It is with regret, that due to the new national Covid restrictions, it is no longer possible to hold the planned live streamed Remembrance Service from Tewkesbury Abbey on Sunday 8th November.
However, this will not stop Tewkesbury ‘Remembering’.
A pre-recorded ‘service’ will be available on the Tewkesbury Abbey website https://www.tewkesburyabbey.org.uk/ and on You Tube from 9am on Sunday 8th November.
In addition, Tewkesbury Abbey will be open for individuals to lay wreaths at the War Memorial at the back of the building between 10am and 4pm on Sunday 8th November. Masks must be worn inside the Abbey and a 2m social distance maintained between individuals. The wreaths will then be transferred to the Memorial Cross on the morning of Wednesday 11th November.
We will remember them.
