The North Ashchurch Consortium, which includes Bellway Homes, Bromford Homes and Mansfield Partners LLP, are inviting the community to participate in the consultation which will launch on the 9th April 2024.
They believe this is an opportunity to create a vibrant, healthy and happy place for people to live and work in a beautiful area on the edge of the Cotswolds, which could include:
- A full mix of new homes from starter homes and affordable housing to homes for growing families, retirees and the elderly providing whole life living
- Vibrant community facilities – schools, shops, café, restaurant and community buildings
- Generous green spaces – from a country park to play areas, sports pitches and recreation, well connected walking and cycling routes, allotments and ecological features, such as native woodlands, wetlands and grasslands, designed to increase biodiversity across the site
- Integrated and sustainable transport choices – significant investment would be made into public transport, cycling and walking, as well as road improvements both on and around the development
- Well-designed and distinctive architecture – future-proofed over the life of the development
- A wide variety of job opportunities – within the employment area, shops, schools and services, as well as providing opportunities for home working, so people can live and work here
