M5 junction 6 to junction 7 safety barrier replacement
Update – May 2023
Please find below our final update with regards to the required traffic management of our safety barrier upgrades on M5 between junction 6 and junction 7. The closures are in place for resurfacing work and the removal of equipment for completing our work at this location.
We would like to thank you for your co-operation and understanding whist we have carried out this essential maintenance work.
- On Tuesday 30 May and Wednesday 31 May 2023, M5 Southbound will be closed at junction 6 to junction 7, 8pm to 6am for resurfacing work.
- On Thursday 1 June, Friday 2 June and Saturday 3 June 2023, M5 Northbound will be closed at junction 7 to junction 6, 8pm to 6am for resurfacing work.
- On Sunday 4 June 2023, M5 Southbound lane 4 will be closed at junction 5 and junction 6 for the removal of equipment.
- On Wednesday 21 June and Thursday 22 June 2023, M5 southbound will be closed at junction 6 to junction 8, 8pm to 6am.
During closures a fully signed diversion will be in place as attached. Please plan ahead and allow additional time for your journey.
