National Highways have asked us to share information regarding some upcoming essential maintenance work along the A46, Ashchurch.
Their message is below:
I’m writing to inform you of some upcoming essential maintenance work along the A46 Ashchurch.
As part of this work, we’ll be carrying out targeted resurfacing work to provide a smoother, safer carriageway for road users.
We’ll work overnight whilst traffic volumes are lower, from 9pm to 6am on Monday 9 June 24, 2025. To complete our work safely the following closure and diversions will be in place:
Access for emergency services will be maintained throughout.
We’ll make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum. We always aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes.
