Waste and recycling collections will be amended owing to the double bank holiday on Thursday, 2 June and Friday, 3 June.
Collections will be delayed whilst the bank holiday and Jubilee celebrations take place. The amended schedule from Monday, 6 June will aim to catch up with refuse collections in the borough. Collections will also be slightly altered during the week commencing Monday, 13 June.
Normal collections begin again on Monday, 20 June.
Cllr Jim Mason, Lead Member for Clean and Green Environment, said: “Our teams will be enjoying this double bank holiday celebration, but will also be working extra hard to catch up on the waste collections across the borough during the two weeks after.
“No doubt there will be parties across the borough, and we do hope you all have a wonderful time, but please remember to ensure your waste is placed in the correct bins, and recycle as much you can.”
