Statement from Tewkesbury Town Mayor; Cllr Simon Raywood, “It is with great sadness that I heard about the passing of our late Sovereign, Queen Elizabeth the Second. Our sadness at this time is shared by the people of Tewkesbury and across the globe, as we remember with affection and gratitude the lifetime of service given by our longest reigning Monarch.”
A book of condolences will be available from 8.30am on Friday 9th September in the Lady Chapel at Tewkesbury Abbey for members of the public to sign an public to sign and flowers may also be placed in the Chapel.
