Sandbags

Tewkesbury Borough Council has a good supply of filled sandbags at the Public Services Centre – they are available to vulnerable residents who have registered with us to receive assisted waste collections and we have mechanisms in place to deliver to these vulnerable residents, should this be necessary. Please phone 01684 295010.

If you know of someone who needs sandbags outside of office hours, please call: 01684 293445. Alternatively, we have empty sandbags that residents can take and fill themselves – builders merchants should have a good stock of sand or soil can also be put in bin bags and used in the same way as sandbags.
