Matt Dimond-Brown

Councillor (South Ward), Borough Councillor

I am recently retired from GCHQ having had a wonderful 38 year career there. I am married to Sarah and we have a Jack Russell called Paddy. I have lived in the Tewkesbury area for over 30 years and have got involved in local issues such as planning and road safety. I am also involved in technology projects that help get us to Net Zero quicker. I have been a supporter of the Organic movement for many decades and have recently joined the Green Party.

In May 2023 I was privileged enough to be voted in as a Tewkesbury Borough Councillor representing Tewkesbury South together with my colleague Cate Cody.  I currently chair the Borough Council Overview and Scrutiny Committee as well as sit on the Planning Committee.

Any spare time is taken up with watching Rugby (Sarah and I are Season Ticket holders for Gloucester) having played rugby for local teams since 1985.
